What "Research Use Only" Means

"Research Use Only" (RUO) is a regulatory designation for materials intended solely for laboratory investigation. An RUO product has not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical purpose. It has not been through the safety, efficacy, purity-for-human-use, or manufacturing review that a drug or supplement would undergo.

In practice, this means our compounds are supplied for use in controlled laboratory settings by qualified personnel — in-vitro work, analytical reference standards, and similar scientific applications — and for nothing else.

Prohibited Uses

Our products must never be used for:

• Human consumption, injection, ingestion, inhalation, or topical application
• Veterinary or any other animal administration

Quality & Verification

Our compounds are tested by independent third-party laboratories using HPLC for purity and mass spectrometry for identity confirmation, with amino acid analysis where applicable. Certificates of Analysis are published on our COA page and are lot-specific. Testing verifies the identity and purity of the material as supplied; it does not constitute approval or clearance for any use in humans or animals.

Safe Handling

Research compounds should be handled by trained personnel using appropriate personal protective equipment and standard laboratory practice. Store materials as directed on the product page and Certificate of Analysis, keep them clearly labeled and separated from any consumable, and dispose of them in accordance with your institution's protocols and applicable regulations.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion, including any order that appears intended for human use or other prohibited purpose. Misrepresenting your eligibility or intended use is a breach of our Terms & Conditions and may result in cancellation, refusal of future orders, and referral to the appropriate authorities.
